If you like to take an alcoholic beverage every so often, keep your cash at home if you intend to do your consuming in a brick and mortar betting house. I’m serious. clean out your handbag, your money belt, and leave all money, bank cards and chequebooks at home. Take whatever money you are planning to use on alcohol, tipping and whatever pocket coins you plan on loosing and keep the rest behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Realistic more like. You might well experience a win after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be fortunate enough to hit a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table. Hold on to that account because it is as brief as it gets if you constantly drink and gamble. The two simply do not mix.

Leaving your cash at home is a bit dramatic, however, precautionary actions for drastic actions is proportionate and required. If you gamble to win, then do not consume alcohol and gamble. If you are able to manage to throw away your cash without a second thought, then drink all the no cost booze your stomach can handle, but do not take debit cards and checks to throw into the combination of chasing losses once your drunken brain throws away everything!
