Craps Game Rules and Techniques
Craps
Craps seems like a complex game, and it certainly can be, but you don’t have to understand all of the intricacies to participate in it well and get a fair return. If you stick with the common bets with a small casino edge and don’t bet when you are not assured what it is you’re betting on and its odds.
By wagering on the pass line and purchasing odds you can bet with approximately no casino edge. This just about makes the saying ‘gamble’ invalid if you think about it.
Pass Line
The game starts by laying a wager on the Pass or Don’t Pass before the Come Out roll. If a 7 or 11 is rolled 1st you win and two, three, or 12 means you loss if you place a bet on pass. The opposite is valid if you bet on Do not Pass. With the exception of twelve which is a push if you cast a bet Do not Pass. Most everyone places a bet on Pass, so if you pick Do not Pass, do not attract recognition to yourself, especially if you win. If you profit then everyone else just was defeated, and are not going to like any showing off. Should a different number other than 2, three, seven, 11 or 12 be tossed 1st, that number becomes the point. Don’t bet on the Pass line following the Come Out roll, it is legal, but the probabilities are against you.
Buying the Odds
In order to take advantage of the betting with almost no casino edge, you must initially place a bet on the Pass Line. Following that you will be able to wager a multiple (depending on the betting house) of your Pass bet that the point will be rolled prior to a 7. based on the number of the point, you can win up to two to one.
Gambling along these basic lines will provide you with honest hope of coming out a winner. Add the thrills that the craps always appears to deliver and the only way to lose is not to play.
